Miley Cyrus recalled wig incident

Initially wanting to go unnoticed by her fans by donning a wig, Miley Cyrus once had
bad experience with the fake hair. She shared the minor incident to British chat show, "This Morning," recently.

"I had the idea (to go out in disguise) so I got a wig and it was really short, a tomboy cut,
and I decided to straighten it. I'm sitting down and all of a sudden I start smelling smoke.
I thought, 'What is that?'" she recalled.
"The wig is literally catching on fire because I didn't know it was a cheap wig."

Miley then compared the wig with the one she dons on her hit TV series "Hannah Montana",
in which she has to wear wig on-stage to conceal her true identity as school student Miley Stewart,
commenting,
"I thought, 'This isn't going to work for me.' So it doesn't work in real life but it works on the show!"




Beside experiencing the wig incident, Miley recently also told Tyra Banks that she had once worked
as a toilet cleaner when she was still 11.
"I worked at this place called Sparkles Cleaning Service and I cleaned houses,"
the Disney hottie revealed, adding that she "actually liked it."

Britney Spears opens Madonna show

Fans didn't have to wait long for the much-hyped Britney Spears and Madonna collaboration
at the Material Girl's Dodgers Stadium show in Los Angeles on Thursday night --
the pop stars opened the show.

As expected, Spears joined Madonna for a version of "Human Nature,"
but no one expected the pop pair to team up so early in the evening.
Wearing black pants and a white top, Spears stunned the sold-out crowd by singing and dancing
with her heroine before she was lowered beneath the stage at the end of the number as portions
of the crowd cried out her name.

It was a tame stage collaboration compared to the last time Madonna performed with Spears --
the pair hit the headlines back in 2003 when they locked lips during a wedding-themed routine
at the MTV Video Music Awards.



Spears' ex Justin Timberlake was also performed onstage with Madonna.

The show was a big success, despite fears about the stage after a minor collapse on Wednesday.

Prior to Thursday night's show, Madonna said,
"Even though my stage roof was damaged and some lights and effects aren't working,
I want to do the show anyway because I don't want to disappoint my fans."

Teacher guilty of having lesbian sex with student

A teacher has been found guilty of pursuing an unlawful sexual relationship
with a female student.
Amanda Louise Thompson, 28, pleaded not guilty in the Brisbane District Court
to maintaining an unlawful relationship with a child between April 2003 and 2005.
Thompson fell for the 14-year-old student, who cannot be named,
when she was teaching at a high school south of Brisbane in April 2003.

During the trial the court was told the friendship developed into a sexual relationship,
with the pair meeting regularly for romantic trysts.
Prosecutor Todd Fuller said during the trial that Thompson had taken advantage
of a young girl who was fighting emotional and physical "demons" when they first met in 2003.
He said the relationship may have started innocently, with Thompson providing maths tutoring
and advice on coping with an eating disorder.
But, he said, it "spun out of control", and there had been an "imbalance of power"
in favour of  Thompson, who had been in a position of trust.
"This wasn't a Good Samaritan act ... this was much, much more than that," he said.

Mr Fuller read out extracts from a love note allegedly written by Thompson to the girl,
saying it was evidence the friendship between the pair had developed into something
beyond a normal teacher-student relationship.
"I love you very much and I always will," the note read.
"Please always remember that you mean the world to me and you always will."

Thompson's lawyer  Mark Johnson told the jury there was no denying the relationship
between the two was "bordering on bizarre at least".
However, he said there had never been anything illegal between his client and her student,
arguing that the student had dreamed up details of alleged incidents of sexual activity.
Mr Johnson said there were "significant" discrepancies between the evidence
the girl gave in court and her statements to police.

Thompson's sentencing was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
She was remanded in custody and ordered to undergo psychological
and psychiatric assessments.

Britney Spears joins Madonna onstage

Britney Spears made a surprise appearance on Madonna's
Sticky and Sweet tour stop in Los Angeles last night.

The pop star, wearing satin black pants and a long-sleeved white tuxedo top,
strutted around with Madonna and sang backup vocals on "Human Nature".

Spears, whose new album Circus is due out in December,
was looking like her old self, flipping her blonde hair
and growling "it's Britney, bitch" into a microphone.

"This was a night for Britney to enjoy, and not stress over,"
a source said.

Britney's former beau and Mickey Mouse club castmate, Justin Timberlake,
also made a cameo during the concert, joining Madonna for their duet "4 Minutes."
While Timberlake and Spears did not share the stage during the concert,
People reports the two did cross paths during rehearsal and were amicable.

Ashlee Simpson could give birth at any point

Pete Wentz is banned from having a life until further notice.
The Fall-Out Boy bass player told Ryan Seacrest that wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz
is due to give birth basically any second.

"She is very pregnant," he said Thursday. "I am on call permanently right now.
She's at the very end, and it could happen at any point."

"I think she wants to just be not pregnant anymore,"
said Wentz.
"It's a struggle to go up and down the stairs. Going out in public is insane."

As for the name of the little Simpson-Wentz-to-be, the jury is still out.
 "I want to meet (the baby) first," says Wentz.
"My friend said it – you've gotta have a baby with a name that could be a rock star
or a senator, so he'll get work either way."
